Just be sure not to do so with a shotgun, especially not if it's filled with shot instead of darts or slugs. However, because the game does not prevent you from pulling out your weapon and firing in such places, you can fight back. Duty members will fire at you, on-sight and on-site, if they see you walking into 100 Rads Bar. Note: STALKER Anomaly does not do the "no gunfire in bars/bases/safe places" thing that the official games do. Also, the other Duty members elsewhere in Rostok do not usually reinforce a given area that's being attacked, unless they happen to already be en route and notice the fighting. Once you clear the Northern checkpoint in Rostok, taking the others out is easy, because you're attacking from the rear.
And a couple more things they will try to flank you, so switch which side you look/fire from every now and then and you will be a sitting duck for grenades, so when you hear Duty say any phrases like "Ya brosayu grenatu!", IMMEDIATELY fill the bastard popping a frag full of lead. I don't think a real one would, but it's a game. Immediately after throwing the grenades, run behind the storage container next to the entrance to the wild territory - yes, you will fit, and yes, it will provide cover from gunfire. Toss those grenades at about a 40° angle or so, over the gate and wall, in the general direction of the sentries, tossing one grenade further to the right, and the next further to the left. Get up next to the gate, just out of sight of the Duty sentries. Pro tip to Freedom faction members in STALKER Anomaly: when heading South into Rostok from the Army Warehouses, carry a couple of grenades with you, at least.
